Grieg's unique combination of Romanticism and folklore, which has inspired composers of different nationalities, will be at the heart of the programme, while a specially commissioned installation by Norwegian art photographer Ingerid Jordal depicting the dramatic scenery in Hardanger - a major source of inspiration for Grieg, particularly when writing songs such as The Last Spring - will be featured simultaneously with the performance of the 12 Settings of A. O. Vinje Op. 33.
